Ever wonder which teams had the best shooting percentage of the 2026 season? Look no further. Throughout the 2026 season, these programs proved that offensive efficiency can be just as valuable as offensive volume. Whether attacking from the crease, in transition, or through settled six-on-six offense, the nation’s top shooting teams consistently made the most of their opportunities.

Leading the country was Lynchburg, which converted an impressive 38.4% of its shots into goals. The Hornets scored 387 goals on 1,008 shots, finishing as the most efficient shooting team in DeeThreeLax Close behind was Washington & Lee at 38.0%, while Pfeiffer (36.8%), Centenary (LA) (36.1%), and Cortland (35.6%) rounded out the Top 5. Each of those programs paired elite shot selection with talented finishers to become some of the most dangerous offenses in the nation.

Many of the teams atop these rankings excelled at creating high-percentage scoring opportunities through outstanding ball movement, off-ball cuts, transition play, and patient offensive execution. Rather than settling for low-angle attempts, they consistently forced defenses to break down before finishing their chances. Programs like Tufts, Penn College, Grove City, York (PA), Greensboro, and RIT all ranked among the nation’s leaders, demonstrating that efficient offenses can thrive in a variety of systems.

Elite shooting percentages often reflect strong offensive chemistry rather than individual talent alone. Great passing, smart decision-making, and disciplined shot selection allowed these teams to maximize every possession throughout the season. When opportunities were limited, these offenses consistently capitalized.
