The nation’s top point-producing teams didn’t simply rely on individual stars, they built offenses that generated opportunities from every position on the field. Through crisp ball movement, balanced scoring, and unselfish play, these programs consistently found ways to produce offense at an elite level throughout the 2026 season.
Leading the nation was Tufts, which piled up an incredible 688 points (423 goals, 265 assists). The Jumbos’ explosive attack was fueled by one of the deepest offensive units in Division III, making them the only program to eclipse the 680-point mark. Right behind Tufts was Washington & Lee with 662 points, followed by Cortland (655). Grove City and Pfeiffer tied for fourth with 602 points, while RIT narrowly followed with 601, giving DeeThreeLax six programs that surpassed the 600-point milestone.
The teams atop these rankings consistently combined elite goal scorers with exceptional distributors, making them difficult to defend regardless of who had the ball. Rather than relying on isolation play, these offenses excelled through spacing, movement, and making the extra pass. It’s no coincidence that many of the nation’s leaders in total points also ranked among the top teams in both scoring offense and total assists.
Traditional national powers such as Tufts, Washington & Lee, Cortland, Salisbury, RIT, and York (PA) are well represented, but so are emerging programs like Penn College, Concordia Wisconsin, Chatham, Mass. Maritime, and Baldwin Wallace, proving that high-level offensive lacrosse is being played across every corner of DeeThreeLax.
