Lynchburg (10-1) vs. Randolph-Macon (10-2)
Big time matchup this weekend takes place in the ODAC as two of the hottest teams in the country square off. Lynchburg enters as one of the clear national contenders, while Randolph-Macon has been one of the biggest surprises of the season and now gets a chance to prove it belongs among the elite.
Lynchburg comes in at 10-1 and has looked dominant throughout the season. The Hornets have been firing on all cylinders, combining high-powered offense with strong play in the middle of the field and on the defensive end. This is a team that has consistently shown it can overwhelm opponents when it gets into rhythm.

The offense is led by Riley Hastings (57 pts), one of the top producers in the country, alongside Will Rubley (35 pts)and Liam Holman (34 pts). That trio gives Lynchburg a dangerous and efficient offense. Defensively, Kylar Mahoney (21 CTs, 19 GBs) helps anchor a unit that can disrupt possessions, while Riley Frankel (161-232 FO, 69%, 5 pts) gives Lynchburg a major advantage at the faceoff X and helps dictate tempo.
Randolph-Macon enters at 10-2 and has been one of the more impressive teams flying under the radar this season. The Yellow Jackets have built a strong résumé and already own a statement win over Washington & Lee, proving they can compete with top-tier teams in the ODAC.

Offensively, Grant Sobel (43 pts), Andrew Bergesen (32 pts), and Logan Sinsebox (27 pts) lead a balanced scoring offense. On the defensive side, Randolph-Macon brings a physical and disruptive group led by Mike Allen (31 CTs, 56 GBs, 10 pts) and Brodie Kent (26 CTs, 39 GBs, 2 pts), two players who can flip possessions and create transition opportunities. At the faceoff X, Carson Mingo (87-135, 64%, 3 pts) will be key in trying to match Lynchburg’s strength in the middle of the field.
These two met in the 2025 ODAC regular season, where Lynchburg controlled the game in an 18-6 win. It was a dominant performance, but this year’s matchup features a much different Randolph-Macon team.
DeeThreeLax Take
Lynchburg is rightfully the favorite and one of the best teams in the country right now, but Randolph-Macon is not the same team it was a year ago. The Yellow Jackets have already proven they can take down top competition, and if they can hold their own at the faceoff X and turn defense into offense, this could get interesting. Still, Lynchburg’s depth and firepower make them tough to pick against, but this one has upset potential if things break the right way.
Clarkson (7-3) vs. Skidmore (9-2)
A high-level Liberty League matchup here as Clarkson and Skidmore square off in what could be one of the more evenly matched games this weekend.
Clarkson enters at 7-3 and has quietly put together a strong season, showing the ability to compete on both ends of the field. The Golden Knights have built their success on balanced offense and strong defensive play, making them a tough team to break down.

On the defensive side, Jack Garvey (27 CTs, 29 GBs, 1 pt) has been a key playmaker, consistently creating turnovers and helping Clarkson control possessions. Skidmore comes in at 9-2 and has worked their way into the national conversation this season. The Thoroughbreds have proven they can compete with top teams and continue to build momentum as conference play picks up.

The offense is led by Michael Aiello (49 pts), one of the top producers in the conference, along with Joseph Killcommons (26 pts) and David Koffler (26 pts). Defensively, Skidmore brings an aggressive unit led by Ethan Dicturel (21 CTs, 30 GBs) and Michael Dearborn (20 CTs, 26 GBs), both of whom play a major role in creating disruption and transition opportunities.
These two met in the 2025 Liberty League regular season, where Clarkson earned an 11-7 win. It was a solid, controlled performance from the Golden Knights, who were able to limit Skidmore’s offensive opportunities and dictate the pace.
DeeThreeLax Take
Skidmore comes in as the slight favorite based on recent form, but Clarkson has already shown it can win this matchup. With both teams bringing strong defensive units and capable offenses, this likely comes down to execution in the little things like ground balls, turnovers, and late-game possessions. Expect a tight one.
Stockton (9-4) vs. Mary Washington (6-6)
A great CLC matchup this weekend as Stockton and Mary Washington meet again in a rivalry that has already proven it can swing either way.
Stockton enters at 9-4 and has put together a strong year, showing the ability to win both high-scoring games and tighter defensive battles.

The Ospreys have leaned on a dynamic offensive duo in Alex DeLierre (50 pts) and Colin Wagner (47 pts), who have consistently driven production and kept pressure on opposing defenses. On the defensive end, Shane Phillips (29 CTs, 21 GBs, 7 pts) and Chase Yesavage (15 CTs, 29 GBs, 3 pts) bring an aggressive presence that can create turnovers and generate transition opportunities.
Mary Washington comes in at 6-6 and has been a bit up-and-down this season, but remains a dangerous team, especially in conference play. The Eagles have shown they can compete with strong opponents and will look to bring that level of play into this matchup.

These teams split their matchups in 2025. Mary Washington dominated the regular season meeting with a 23-8 win, but Stockton responded when it mattered most, winning a 12-11 overtime thriller in the CLC Tournament to advance. Two very different games, and a reminder of how unpredictable this matchup can be.
DeeThreeLax Take
This is a classic conference battle between two teams that know each other well. Stockton comes in as the slight favorite based on consistency and offensive production, but Mary Washington is a talented group and should not be overlooked. With the history between these teams and the stakes in conference play, don’t be surprised if this turns into another tight game that comes down to the final possessions.

Defensively, Taylor Wikert (34 CTs, 52 GBs, 4 pts) has been a standout and one of the most impactful players in this matchup, while Xander Borowski (11 CTs, 16 GBs) adds depth to a defense that can make things difficult.
These teams met twice in 2025 within a four-day span, splitting the series. Arcadia took the regular season matchup 12-10, but DeSales flipped the script in the MAC Tournament, earning a 16-10 win to advance. Two very different outcomes in a short window highlight just how competitive this matchup can be.
DeeThreeLax Take
Arcadia comes in as the favorite based on overall performance this season, but MAC Freedom games tend to be unpredictable between familiar opponents. DeSales is looking to get another win closer to the .500 mark and with Wikert leading the defensive effort, they’ll look to slow things down and grind out this game. If Arcadia can control possession at the X and play at its pace, they have the edge, but don’t be surprised if this turns into another tight, physical battle.

Plymouth State comes in at 5-5 and sits at 1-2 in LEC play, currently just behind Keene State in the standings. The Panthers are looking to pick up a much-needed conference win and move themselves into stronger positioning as the season progresses.

These two met in 2025, with Plymouth State earning an 11-8 win in a competitive game where they were able to create separation late.
DeeThreeLax Take
This is one of those games that could quietly have a big impact on the LEC standings. Both teams are right in the middle of the pack and fighting for positioning. Keene State has the edge in the possession game with Ricci and Cougler, but Plymouth State’s goaltending could be the difference-maker. Defensively, Caleb Kern (14 CTs, 19 GBs, 1 pt) and Dom Tsourkas (13 CTs, 19 GBs) anchor a unit that looks to create disruption. At the faceoff X, Braden Antle (98-156, 63%) gives Transylvania a strong option to compete for possession.
DeeThreeLax Take
Ohio Northern comes in as the slight favorite, largely due to strength of schedule and experience in tight games, but this feels like one that could open up quickly. If Transylvania’s offense gets going early, this could turn into a fast-paced, high-scoring battle. Expect an entertaining game and don’t be surprised if this one is tight with 2 minutes left in the fourth quarter.
