If FOGOs control possession, goalies are the heartbeat of any lacrosse team. Momentum, energy, and sometimes entire games, these guys have been absolute difference-makers between the pipes so far this season.

Here’s a look at the Top 10 Goalies halfway through the 2026 season

1. Jake Lydon – Rivier

102 saves & 71.8% Save Percentage

Lydon has been unreal. A 71.8% save percentage is video game stuff, and he’s been standing on his head all season. When you’re saving nearly 3 out of every 4 shots, you’re giving your team a chance in every single game.

2. Nolan O’Malley – Concordia

141 saves & 66.8% Save Percentage

O’Malley has been a brick wall. Sitting at 66.8%, he’s faced solid volume and still produced at an elite level. One of the most reliable goalies in the country right now.

3. Jack Old – Tufts

110 saves & 66.3 % Save Percentage

Anytime you’re putting up numbers like this against strong competition, it stands out. Old has been a steady presence and a big reason Tufts is still undefeated with their challenging schedule thus far.

4. Hunter Shank – Pitt-Bradford

161 Saves & 66.3 %

Shank has been incredibly consistent all season long. He’s right in that mid-60% sweet spot and has been a major factor in keeping games competitive.

5. Matthew Ludlow – Immaculata

180 saves & 65.5% Save Percentage

Another volume guy getting it done. Ludlow has faced a ton of shots and continues to hold strong in net.

6. Ryan Littler – Illinois Tech

179 Saves & 64.6 % Save Percentage

High volume, high production. Littler has seen a ton of rubber and continues to deliver. That kind of workload with this level of efficiency is impressive.

7. Ethan Schena – Plymouth State

122 saves & 63.9% Save Percentage

Schena has been a consistent presence and a tough goalie to solve. Living in that low-to-mid 60% range is exactly what you want.

8. Evan Borchert – Wheaton

151 saves & 63.2% Save Percentage

Borchert has shown strong volume and solid efficiency so far this year. Another guy who’s been battle-tested this season.

9. Christian Moore – Beloit

153 save& 63.2% Save Percentage

Moore has been quietly excellent. Extremely efficient when called upon for Beloit in 2026.

10. Braden Mitchell –  Greensboro

152 saves & 62.6 % Save Percentage

&

Quentan Polkowski – MCLA

119 saves & 62.6% Save Percentage

Two way tie at number 10 with Mitchell and Polkowski who have both been extremely dependable saving 62.6% of the shots they face.

Goalie play across DeeThreeLax has been loaded this season. You’ve got guys pushing 70%+, others handling massive shot volume, and a whole group sitting comfortably in that 63–66% range.

As we head toward the conference stretch run, expect goalie play to become even more important. One hot weekend from any of these guys could completely flip a conference race or NCAA tournament game.
