DeeThreeLax Take: RIT comes into 2026 looking to get back to championship weekend. If RIT Is going to find a way back, they will need to make sure they find replacements for all the lost production they will be missing coming into 2026. Good news for RIT is that this isn’t the first time they have lost talent, and coach coon is a savvy vet when it comes to finding top talent. While it looks like RIT has lost a lot in the off season, they have plenty of key pieces back to lead this team to another LL championship and a deep NCAA tournament run.
St. Lawerence

Head Coach: Mike Mahoney
2025 Overall Record: 12-7
2025 Conference Record: 5-2
Key Losses:

- Michael Marinello – Goalie – 245 Saves, 60% Save percentage
Key Returners:
- Daniel Mahoney – Attack – 38 Goals, 19 Assists, 57 Points
- Jamie Rosenzweig – Attack – 23 Goals, 28 Assists, 51 Points
- Cam Croasdaile – Midfield – 19 Goals, 6 Assists, 25 Points
- Dan Anderson – Midfield – 15 CTs, 35 GBs, 12 Points
- Sam Wade – LSM – 10 CTs, 16 GBs
- Quin Fedor – Defense – 8 CTs, 17 GBs
Games that will test this team early:
- Cortland
- St. John Fisher
- Dickinson
- Stevenson
DeeThreeLax Take: I like St. Lawrence in 2026, and believe they are going to have a good chance to take home the LL title. Two big pieces they need to backfill are Marinello in goal and Condon at the faceoff X which were staples of the success this team has had over the last few years. If they can figure those two positions out, I think St. Lawrence brings back more than enough fire power to find away to get back to the LL Championship game and push for an LL title.
RPI

Head Coach: Scott Hackett-Dalgliesh
2025 Overall Record: 16-4

- Sean Smith – Midfield – 23 Goals, 11 Assists, 34 Points
Games that will test this team early:
- Cortland
- Muhlenberg
- Middlebury
- Williams
DeeThreeLax Take: Anyone that followed RPI lacrosse the last few years was sad to see the season end last year in the quarterfinals. RPI put together a fantastic season, but I for one thought they were a final four caliber team with all the talent they had up and down the field the last two seasons. Looking at the 2026 RPI team they will once again be a strong team and be in the conversation in the Liberty League, but they will need to make sure that they fill the missing gaps on the defensive end of the field early in the season. I think they have plenty of guys who are ready to step up to the challenge and with the success over the last few season I expect they brought in some strong underclass ready to explode.

- Ryan Connolly, A, competing for time at attack
Games That Will Test This Team Early:
- Fisher
- Nazareth
- Scranton
DeeThreeLax Take: Ithaca enters 2026 in a retooling phase after graduating a large group of contributors across the field. The Bombers do return an elite presence in goal and a capable offensive core that can keep them competitive as new pieces settle in. Early matchups will be important measuring sticks as the lineup takes shape. If the defense comes together and the offense finds consistency, Ithaca has the pieces to push back into the Liberty League mix this spring.
Skidmore

Head Coach: Joe Martin

- Ethan Dicturel – Defense – 18 CTs, 26 GBs
Games that will test this team early:
- MIT
- Cortland
- Trinity
DeeThreeLax Take: Skidmore looks like they are ready to take the next step in the Liberty League in 2026. They have a lot of production returning from last year where they 4-3 in conference action and made the Liberty League Tournament. Keep an eye on skidmore this season as I think they could be a dark horse in the Liberty League and could turn some heads in 2026.
Union

- Nick Lynch – Goalie – 200 Saves, 59% Save Percentage
Games that will test this team early:
- Bates
- Babson
- Springfield
- Tufts
- Williams
DeeThreeLax Take: Union looks to right the ship after a challenging 2025 campaign. Union was on the wrong end of Five 1 or 2 goal games last season. Union looked to be a pretty young team last season and returns a lot of play makers that should help them get back on the winning track. Union expects national championship caliber lacrosse and I think in 2026 they are going to make strides to get back there. I think this group will hang around in the Liberty League and fight for a Liberty League tournament spot in May.

Anything You Feel the Lacrosse Community Should Know About This Team:
“Vassar Men’s Lacrosse enters this season with 15 seniors who bring a ton of experience, leadership, and the belief in what we can accomplish. Our goal is clear: compete every day and make real noise in the Liberty League. This is the most experienced team and strongest culture we’ve had, and we’re chasing our best season yet. The Vibes around the program are really strong.”
DeeThreeLax Take: Vassar rolls into 2026 with a veteran-heavy roster and ready to turn heads in the Liberty League. While the Brewers will need to replace key pieces at goalie and on defense, they return enough offensive firepower to stay competitive and pull off some upsets within LL action. Vassar has a chance to make some noise in the Liberty League this spring and I would not be surprised if they found themselves pushing the top 5 of the conference. Don’t let their seeding fool you, this team is for real in 2026.
Clarkson

Head Coach: Bill Bergan

2025 Conference Record: 1-6

- Connor Holly – Attack – 14 Goals, 10 Assists, 24 Points
- Alex Alfieri – Midfield – 13 Goals, 8 Assists, 21 Points
- Jack Garvey – Defense – 27 CTs, 21 GBs, 1 Point
- Dylan Coan – Defense – 12 CTs, 26 GBs, 1 Points
- Joe Porto – Defense – 8 CTs, 17 GBs
Games that will test this team early:
- Nazareth
- Geneseo
- Trinity
DeeThreeLax Take: Clarkson heads into 2026 facing a major reset after graduating a large portion of its offensive production and a key defensive anchor. The Golden Knights do return a capable playmaker on offense and a defensive group that will be asked to grow into larger roles early. A challenging non-conference slate should provide a quick measuring stick as new combinations settle in. If Clarkson can replace scoring by committee and tighten up defensively, this group has a path to being more competitive in Liberty League play this spring.
